Energy Psychology
One form of  Energy Psychology I work with is the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT),  I initially teach parents how to apply EFT on themselves to effortlessly relieve stress, exhaustion, frustration, etc. This helps to calm and energize at the same time so caretakers feel better physically and mentally.  As parents’ energy systems become balanced, the energetic exchange between other family members smoothes out.

During the second session I teach parents how to act as a surrogate for their child(ren).   For example, when the child is anxious or frustrated or appears inattentive, the parent can begin tapping on herself as if she is her child and the child will react to the tapping in a positive way.  An additional outcome is that caretakers receive the “borrowing benefits” while tapping for their children and often report they have more energy and are able to handle stressful situations easier.

Tong Ren Therapy
Tong Ren helps children on the autistic spectrum feel calmer, more focused and more open to change as was the case with one boy who willingly participated in toilet training the day after our session. 

After listening to a client talk about his child, I determine the treatment points to be addressed.  I then direct energy to specific points on the body and brain needed for that child.  Often energy is targeted to brocca’s area in the brain to stimulate speech, the hypothalamus for balance, and to lessen hyperactivity and general circulation to increase blood circulation.  Additional points are included depending on the child’s needs that may include  allergies, help with detoxification of metals and chemicals, fears, better digestion, etc.   Parents frequently report that, as the session is in progress, the child appears much more relaxed and sometimes the face shows more color as the energy begins circulating throughout the body.

Intuitive Dialoging
Through intuitive training, I am able to access the thoughts and feelings of  others and interact with them.  And from that dialogue, I create a written Multisensory Intention designed to enhance a child’s physical, mental and emotional development.  The MI is done for the child on a daily basis by a friend or family member.
