Autism
More and more children are being diagnosed with autism and, while many experts have their personal theories and explanations about the causes and treatments for autism, most therapies being offered are costly and do not produce rapid improvement.
One very effective but lesser known type of complementary therapy is Energy Therapy. Many children with autism spectrum disorder are bombarded with stimuli they cannot handle. This can take the form of electromagnetic radiation, loud noises, visual arousal and other disruptive energies these sensitive children experience daily. Similarly poor nutrition, frustration and other negative emotions effect the energy pathways in the body. When this happens, childrens’ energy fields become frenetic and overloaded and children often tune out or act out in various ways to deal with the overwhelming stimuli.
Energy Medicine can play an important part in the healing process of children on the autistic spectrum. As the childrens’ energy fields become unblocked and balanced, the natural flow of energy returns and children are able to connect better with others, feel better physically and move gently into our world to express their unique gifts.
Parenting a child with autism requires great reservoirs of strength and love. Keeping those reserves filled requires a commitment to self-care which includes energy management. Children with autism are energetically perceptive and are greatly effected by the energy around them. This includes you. As I teach parents to use energy techniques for their children, there is a hidden benefit to the parents involving their self-care. The Emotional Freedom Technique provides a powerful, quick and profound shift in the parents’ energy, restoring peace and harmony to the home and family. When a parent learns how to use Tong Ren for family members, this is another non-invasive yet dramatic way to balance energy and reduce stress.
I offer Energy Therapies and intuitive insights that make children feel more comfortable in their environments thus allowing change to occur easier. I teach parents to balance their own energy as well as their childrens’ energy pathways because the emotions and physical conditions of the caretakers are often transferred energetically to other family members.
